Sock Summit will be held!
WALNUT's March main event is a large collection of hand-knitted socks! exhibition, its name is "Sock Summit".
Hand-knitted socks are so hot these days that even the latest issue of yarn has a special feature on socks.
I've been excited by myself for many years now, but over the past few years, I feel that patterns and threads similar to hand-knitted socks overseas have finally appeared in Japan.
However, I think there are still many people who have never actually seen socks that are knitted with thin threads and using various techniques.
Therefore, we will hold an exhibition by borrowing socks from about 14 sock knitters, including those who are famous for their blogs!
I've never seen so many kinds of hand-knitted socks all at once.
A related WS will also be held. This is a WS where you learn a technique specific to socks by knitting small socks. With this, you can experience knitting socks in one day.
We hope that you will take this opportunity to experience the wonder and fun of knitting socks. Yes, socks are not only something to look at, but something to knit, and something to enjoy wearing.
